Synopsis

Available on page 292, Bleiler (Gernsback).

From the Inside of the front cover of the Avon Murder Mystery Month edition: Graydon had not been long in South America before me met two of his own countryman, adventurers who knew of mysterious treasure. He went with them on a search that brought them adventures as lurid as the riches of which they dreamed.

But stranger than the hardships, stranger than the beckoning treasure, was the woman they found - Suarra, whose distracting beauty forced the visitors to a mad decision. When Suarra whispered "Come back to me, Graydon", he did go back, although all the uncanny forces of her world strove to corrupt his soul and destroy his body.

This is the story of a strange people who had closed the doors of death and created worlds of their own from the fabric of their desires and their dreams.
