- Accordign to the Authors note in the hc Worlds. There are four different versions of this story. The first was published in the hc edition of The Warmasters. The pb edition of The Warmasters (Feb 2004) added a significant scene. The scenes of the story were split up and incorporated into The Dance of Time (2005) and further rewritten there. Then they were rejoined for inclusion in Worlds.
